Jeep Grand Cherokee 'Altitude'

When the intensly blacked-out Jeep Grand Cherokee debuted at the Houston Auto Show ealier this year it was still without a name. Jeep had a plan though - they launched the "Name my Ride" contest, and ultimately chose "Altitude" from a selection of more than 100,000 entries.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude is equipped with a black-gloss 20 inch aluminum wheels, platinum-chrome front end trim and mesh grille, black headlamp bezels and black liftgate light bar. Look for it in our showroom by Altitude versions of the Jeep Compass and Patriot soon!

Chrysler released the Mopar Jeep Compass "True North" at the 2012 Chicago International Auto Show.

2012 Mopar 300 Edition

Check out the 2012 300 Mopar Edition. We can't get enough of the chrome-black-and-blue color scheme, especially in the blue pinstripes. The wheels are equipped with 20-inch glossy black rims, which helps to complement the matching grille and beautiful paint job. If you take a look at the 300?s interior, you'll find it full of black leather with blue stitching that matches the stripe on the outside. As if that weren't enough, the seats also have blue Mopar emblems embroidered in them.

The 2012 Chrysler Town & Country has been given the award for the best family hauler in the Detriot News annual Readers Choice! The Detriot News Readers Choice is held to honor the readers' favorite vehicles at the North American International Auto Show.

Best Resale Value Car: Jeep Wrangler

Kelly Blue Book estimates that compared to all other SUVs, the Jeep Wrangler will be worth the most compared to its original sticker price if it's sold after five years. Jeep Wrangler may not be great on gas, but it holds its value better than any other small SUV and that counts for a lot. And their estimate doesn't even take into account any discounts or rebates (this includes electric car discounts of $7,500). That means that the resale value percentage could be even higher than what KBB estimates!

Ram 1500 wins $30,000 pickup shootout, Pickuptrucks.com, Sept. 23rd.

The Editor of Pickuptrucks.com asked  each of the half-ton manufacturers, what's your best truck for $30,000? After testing five trucks (with competitors from Ford, GM, Nissan and Toyota), the 2011 Ram 1500 Quad Cab was judged best, pickuptrucks.com said.  Tests included 0-60 mph, quarter mile, 7-percent grade, 60-0 mph braking, autocross and mileage. The Ram 1500 is our winning choice for this half-ton Shootout," the publications said.  The Ram was not a huge standout in any of the specific contests, but it did well everywhere, the reports said.  In this kind of test, the vehicle that does the best in the most categories is likely to come out on top, and that's exactly how the Ram won.  With the fewest sacrifices and compromises inside and out, the ST Quad Cab is out Best Truck for $30,000, the report said.
